Howard Johnson by Wyndham Athens

The area was pretty right next to a delicious resturaunt loved the style of the motel and the yard and the rooms are nice and clean and spacious everyone is freindly and help with anything you need whenever and the staff was way more helpful then the 3rd party booking and easier to deal with in person.

Lovely after a room change. The first room felt a little too exposed with the double doors leading out to a dim access road. The staff kindly allowed me to swap to a second floor room & it was very comfortable. The outside hallway does need some new carpets but it's an older hotel. Probably in the summer with the pool open it would be awesome it have a lower floor for families.

The location was within walking distance to Sanford Stadium and downtown Athens (2 1/2 mi) or they have shuttles or Uber. The room was nice. Check in was easy and the check in staff was great.

The check in/out people were very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean. Room was clean. Plenty of towels/linens. Good restaurant steps from hotel. Price was good. Nice sized room with a patio. Nicely kept grounds

Comfy bed. Nice TV. Friendly employees.
